Pollinators in the Garden

In the past week, fall has definitely been in the air in Austin, Texas. One of the signs of fall is an increase in pollinator activity and that is certainly true in the American Botanical Council Sacred Seeds Garden. We've seen increased activity among the native bees and butterflies, shown here on Hamelia patens, scarlet bush. It's hard to catch them at it but the hummingbirds have been visiting the Malvaviscus drummondii, turk's cap.
